Why Salesforce stock's All-Time High Matters

Wall Street agrees and pushes CRM to all-time highs

This is hardly an investment website but Wall Street sees opportunities for Salesforce Customers to see real results from AI.  Here's our take why.

Salesforce doesn't build it's own LLM; it makes others better

Prompts without contextual data create generic, boring, and marginally helpful results

Do your reps love ChatGPT?  Great!  Claude?  Great!  etc.Virtually every "sales AI guru" on the Internet is providing prompts your reps can plug into their favorite model. You have no control over what they're submitting (and training the model), no visibility into the quality of the response, and no idea of overall usage.Salesforce allows you to set guardrails, monitor usage, quality of replies, and much more.

It's the Context, stupid

LLMs are trained on dated public information and user submissions.  Nothing about your Customer relationships - purchase history, current and past Opportunities, email exchanges, support cases, phone calls, product usage, marketing engagement, etc.Imagine the results back from ChatGPT requests grounded with such targeted information.

CRM is where it's at

Finally an escape route from all the drudgery

Reps are either accessing AI by sending their own prompts off to ChatGPT or using AI-enabled features within your tech stack.  This limits the rep experience to the decisions of outside product managers.There is no other technology in an entire enterprise stack as focused on revenue growth and retention as your CRM.  No other system is as well positioned to be your Single Source of Truth.Would it then make most sense to build your AI experience here?  This is how you give your Sales, Marketing, and CS Teams true superpowers.

Salesforce Foundations is a grab bag containing some gems - such as Knowledge Articles - that used to require add-on purchases.   Most importantly are enough credits for a no-cost Agentforce Proof of Concept.  This isn't normal for Salesforce - free trials usually are reserved for large Enterprise customers.

I spent 4 days with Salesforce in San Francisco for in-depth training.  My main takeaway is that most implementation isn't technical yet it's absolutely crucial to understand the capabilities and select the right initial Use Case.  Proper Business Analysis is fundamental.Whether you're moving forward on your own, interested in assistance, or still on the fence get in touch.  Information is power and we don't hallucinate.
